It is important to maintain your energy levels throughout the journey, not just for optimal performance but to prevent burnout from slowing your recovery and affecting training in the subsequent days. So, for a typical 3-4 hour training excursion, I'll generally leave home with the following:

1 x 650ml Turbo +
1 x 650ml 1.5 Hydro
2 x Go Energy Mini Bar
1 x Go Energy Bake
3 x Go Isotonic Energy Gels
1 x Go Energy Caffeine + Gel

On the way, my goal is to eat every half hour, alternating bars and gels throughout the trip. I'll save Go Energy Bake mid-trip. It's the closest thing to a coffee shop stop cake like we got in 2020 and it's always something to look forward to. I try to stick to this schedule quite strictly because it works so well for me, almost ensuring that I never run out of most energy.
